“ Went to lunch here yesterday with a friend. We both had a veal dish and it was absolutely delicious. If you go for lunch, ask them for a lunch menu otherwise you automatically get a dinner menu. Their Prosecco was excellent. ”
“ Becoming our go-to-place before concerts at the Odeum. Cozy and EXCELLENT service. HUGE menu. Long dictation of daily specials. Good cocktails (and priced at $18 which is becoming the norm). Split the burrata appetizer. Entrees were veal scaloppine and pollo ripieno. All swell! Damages with tip was $200. ”
“ It was our first time to La Masseria in East Greenwich and it certainly didn't disappoint us! We had a group of 6 and our waiter handled all orders smoothly. The drinks and wine, the appetizers and certainly the main courses were all excellent! Even though we are an hour drive away, we will definitely be back soon! ”
“ The ambiance is old time Italian . The drinks are expensive, but loaded and yummy. Very nice. Tim was fabulous. Very accommodating and personable. My friends are having Rabbit and stuffed chicken. I'm not that brave so I chose to have baked stuffed shrimp (appetizer)with a side of spaghetti. I should have taken a picture of the shrimp, but tore them apart quickly as the eyes got to me. ”
“ This was my first time dining at La Masseria, and it was an awesome experience! It was a little family reunion with relatives from New Hampshire, so I was hoping they would enjoy themselves. We all loved the atmosphere and our fantastic meal, including the appetizer of squash flowers! Our server was excellent, efficient and attentive. I look forward to returning, again and again! ”
“ The duck orange was the BEST dish. The orange and tart cherry sauce was a great compliment to the meat. I can't remember the last time i had brussell sprouts this good. The lobster tagliolini was a mess - the pasta was overcooked and turned into a congealed mess while eating even though there was a generous amount of lobster meat. The sauce was bland. Presentation was beautiful. The bolognese was perfect. We sat upstairs - very loud, bad acoustics but romantic. Service was great, even though our app order was forgotten - dinner portions are huge! ”
“ We had an amazing dinner at La Masseria, Peter Jr was our server and he was great. He really made the whole night extra fun! We appreciated how many specials they had for the night. My husband was especially excited to see that they would do chicken parm as a special, Peter suggested it with the pink vodka sauce, my husband went for it, and really loved it. I'm not a big chicken parm person, but the dish was delicious. I went for the homemade cheese ravioli and really enjoyed the dish. I thought the portions were plentiful. I of course also had to try some dessert. My favorite was the tiramisu. The strawberry cheesecake tasted a little more like a custard than a cheesecake, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. We used their complimentary valet parking which was easy enough, it was impossible for us to find street parking. I look forward to dining there again! ”
“ Attentive five star service from the door to the table servers, without being pretentious. An upscale vibe, that's intimate but energized with some cool background music and lots of laughter from surrounding tables. People are here to enjoy good food and good company. Starter of burrata with prosciutto and tomatoes was nicely plated and tasty. Plenty for a party of four to share a light bite along with the bread basket. Gnocchi entree with shrimp with added shrimp for protein was cheesy rich sauced with a pillowly soft bite of the homemade pasta. Didn't sample the other's plates, but rave reviews on their dishes as well. The portions are GENEROUS. Entrees run $22-$45 and next time I think I'd lobby for plate sharing to sample more and order less (; gluten free and veggie options galore. We all took lunch home and looking forward to going back. ”
